Centrifugal mill Voran RM 5.5 is multi-use shredder for all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Replaceable screens make it possible to achieve any desired mash fineness — ideal for the mashing for distilleries. The choice of the most diverse crushing tools and grinding screens enable to shred pomaceous fruit, stone fruit and berries. Comparing to other RM models, RM 5.5 is more versatile and has more accessories that also include more options for cutting screens. For example it is possible to add cutting screen for rhubarb.
The fruit is inserted into the funnel on top of the mill, from which they move to the shredder. The fruit is crushed by heavy rotor and then shredded through the cutting screen. The mill has exchangeable stainless steel screens for setting the grinding fineness. 9 mm cutting screen is included with the mill. Suitable for pomaceous fruit, stone fruit and berries. It is necessary to place a vessel or bucket underneath the mill for collecting shredded pulp. For the RM 5.5 model it is suitable to use 200-litre or 300-litre collecting vessels. It is possible to extend the feet for 60 mm to fit the tray underneath the mill.
RM 5.5 has tilting drain for easier cleaning and rollers on the feet for easy movement.
