  • Traditional Design, Efficient Performance

The Fratelli Baesso F20 fruit press brings a touch of tradition to your juice-making endeavors. Its classic design, reminiscent of a traditional wooden barrel, is complemented by robust functionality and user-friendly features. With an 11-liter capacity, the F20 efficiently extracts juice from your apples.  The F20 fruit press utilizes a robust trapezoidal thread and a threaded bushing within the press frame. The basket can be disassembled into two parts for convenient cleaning and maintenance. The special gaps between the wooden battens of the basket form chanels that facilitate smooth juice flow while preventing fruit pulp from escaping, ensuring maximum juice extraction without compromising quality and clarity. A filter bag is included with the fruit press.

    Tilting Frame for Easy Access

The press is equipped with a tilting frame that provides convenient access to the basket for both filling it with crushed fruit and emptying it after pressing. To tilt the frame, simply unscrew the fastenings on both sides. Once tilted, place the filter bag inside the press basket and fill it with crushed fruit. The filter bag will contain the crushed fruit within the basket and separate the juice from the pulp. When using the filter bag during pressing, there is no need for additional filtration of the juice afterward. After filling the basket with crushed fruit, fold the edges of the bag over the top, ensuring they overlap to prevent the crushed fruit from escaping during pressing.

    Initiating the Pressing Process

To begin pressing, return the frame to its vertical position and retighten the fastenings. Next, rotate the press handle clockwise until the pressing plate makes contact with the fruit mass in the basket. Increase the pressure gradually by rotating the press handle slowly, avoiding immediate full-speed rotation. Juice extraction requires time for the liquid to drain from the fruit pulp. Pressing too quickly can hinder juice flow and reduce the overall yield. Avoid using excessive force or extending the handle, as this can damage the threaded rod or bushing.

    Collecting the Extracted Juice

The juice tray positioned below the basket collects all the juice that flows from the crushed fruit. Place a collecting vessel or bucket underneath the juice tray to gather the extracted juice. As the pressing progresses, the extracted juice will flow from the basket into the juice tray and then into the collecting vessel. The generous capacity of the juice tray ensures that no precious juice is lost during the pressing process.

    Emptying the Press and Cleaning

To empty the press, release the pressure by turning the handle in the opposite direction until the pressure plate is raised above the basket. Tilt the frame, remove the bag containing the pressed pulp, and empty the basket. After use, rinse the fruit press thoroughly with water. The filter bag can be washed in a washing machine without detergents. Remember to oil the threaded rod regularly to ensure smooth operation and prolong its lifespan. Dry the basket properly and store it in dry conditions to prevent the mould formation.
